Is the ship info tied into the player file? I doubt there is any easy way to do this, short of offloading everything onto a planet and starting a new character. After repairing the ship's thrusters and FTL drive, Penguin Pete, the shipyard captain at the outpost, will open quests to upgrade the size of the player's ship. I tried deleting the ship file and backup files as well as the metadata file and no luck. Starbound Ship Upgrade Commands To repair the ship engines, enabling flight to other systems, players must clear the Erchius Mining Facility mission. EDIT: Capitalization is important in the commands. (never checked to see if I could have 'abandon quest') Use these commands to get items that upgrade your ship when you use them /admin /spawnitem shipT1 /spawnitem shipT2 /spawnitem shipT3 /spawnitem shipT4 /spawnitem shipT5 /spawnitem shipT6 /spawnitem shipT7 /spawnitem shipT8 Use the items and then beam back to your ship and it will be upgraded. The ship upgrade would have stayed in my quest list forever until it drove me crazy so I upgraded. Which brings up a point that the game sometimes seems like its pushing you to do these things. I should have left it at second to last upgrade and just stared at the quest "!" thing forever. After your ship is fully upgraded, you can recruit two additional members. Repeat this process until you have 10 crew members and the biggest ship upgrade. The area will be closed off, but just use your Matter Manipulator to remove the blocks. This is EXACTLY why I couldn't, because I completed the storyline before I installed the mod. Teleport back to your ship to see the newly upgraded area. You cannot legitimately get a tier 10 ship until you've completed the storyline.
ZIZ SHIP UPGRADE STARBOUND LICENSE
Once you've recruited enough crew members (2, 4, 6.) an overlay will appear showing you license and automatically starting a quest to visit Penguin Pete at The. To get a tier 10 upgrade, once you have tier 9, and you have completed the main campaign the special reward bag gives you a Ziz license. Ship licenses are obtained by recruiting crew members. In the case of ship upgrades, a ship license must also be obtained. For weapons, it is simply a crafting ingredient. The top tier ship is way too big for me to do anything with, as well taking up the entire screen. Upgrade modules are used for both ship and weapon upgrades.
